SMC Group recently introduced electric cylinders (EA – Electric Atuator) used in industries. Compared with equivalent pneumatic products, electric cylinders have many advantages in terms of flexible control capacity, large impact force as well as the ability to participate in the automatic control network of the whole factory.
I. LEY – Push type
– Easy to install & configure: just need to set two parameters of Location and Speed
– Long journey: up to 500mm (LEY32)
– Flexible mounting:
– Direct jig on 3 sides
– Prices on the shelf: 3 types
– Positioning ability: The cylinder can be controlled to stop and hold the workpiece at any position on the stroke.
LEF – Slider type
– Simple and quick installation with two parameters: location, speed
– Compact size: collapse up to 50%
– The jig is placed on the body
– Optional two types of drive:
– Lead screw / LEFS Series
– LEFB Belt / Series
III. LES – Slide table type
– Simple installation with only 2 parameters: Location & speed
– Compact size (down to 61% compared to conventional products)
– Fast acceleration and great speed:
– Maximum acceleration: 5,000 mm / sec²
– Maximum speed: 400 mm / sec
– High precision position control: 0.05mm
